Regulations on Vietnam Airline baggage
For safety reasons, the weight and size of carry-on baggage should ensure:
- Trọng lượng tối đa của 01 kiện Hand Baggage là 10kg/22lb.
- Tổng trọng lượng Hand Baggage không được vượt quá:
+ Đối với hạng Phổ thông: 12kg/26lb bao gồm 01 kiện và 01 phụ kiện

- Tổng kích thước tối đa 3 chiều (dài, rộng, cao) cần đảm bảo:
+ Đối với 01 kiện xách tay: 115cm (56cm x 36cm x 23cm)
+ Đối với 01 phụ kiện: 40cm x 30cm x 15cm
- Ngoài tiêu chuẩn Hand Baggage nêu trên, hành khách được phép mang đồ dùng cá nhân lên máy bay miễn phí.

Hand baggage of Vietnam Airline
No more than 23 kg / 50 lb per piece of checked baggage is allowed in Economy and Premium Economy Class. 32/70 lb. in business class is not allowed. Total dimensions (length, width, height) must not exceed 158 cm / 62 in.
If each piece of passenger baggage exceeds the allowance specified above. Passengers are required to repack or pay excess baggage charges. Any piece of baggage that exceeds the weight or size. May be required to ship by air or be refused shipping.

Maximum weight of each checked baggage is:
+ 23kg / 50lb (Economy / Premium Economy)
+ 32kg / 70lb (Business class)
The total size of 3 lengths (length, width, height) must not exceed 158cm / 62in.
Important Information:
If each piece of baggage exceeds the above criteria, passengers will be required to repack the baggage and pay the fee according to the baggage that is charged at the airport or required to be shipped by air.

Regulations on Bamboo Airways baggage
- The total Hand Baggage weight must not exceed:
+ For Economy class: 10kg / 22lb (including 01 hand-carried piece and 01 small item)
+ For Business class: 17kg / 37lb (including 02 pieces of hand and 01 small item)
- Maximum total dimensions of 3 lengths (length, width, height) must not exceed:
+ For 01 hand-carried piece: 115cm (56cm x 36cm x 23cm)
+ For 01 small object: 40cm x 30cm x 10cm
- Small items are one of the following: Laptop, women's bag, small backpack, camera, baby food bag, duty free goods, etc.
- Bamboo Airways does not accept to transport: Fresh and frozen foods (such as meat, fish, crabs, snails ...); Fresh fruits or products made from these fruits cause unpleasant odors (such as jackfruit, durian) and fragrant liquids (such as fish sauce, shrimp paste, shrimp paste, ...) in Hand Baggage.
- In case Hand Baggage exceeds the above mentioned quantity, weight and size, the baggage will be required to check in and passengers will pay service fee for the incurred checked baggage.
- Children under 2 years old are not entitled to Hand Baggage standards.
Hand baggage of Bamboo AirwaysIf passengers need to bring more luggage than the free baggage allowance, you can choose to pre-purchase checked baggage packages at different rates with preferential prices and up to 70% savings within at least 03 hours prior to departure time. In addition, Bamboo Airways also provides the baggage service with the purchase of at the airport to help passengers arrange their luggage in the most convenient way.
- Each checked baggage must not exceed 32 kg and / or the total dimension of 3 lengths (length + width + height) must not exceed 203 cm.
- If each piece of baggage exceeds the above standard (in terms of weight and / or total dimension of 3 dimensions), the passenger will be required to repack the baggage or will be required to send it by cargo.
/ The maximum total weight of checked baggage purchased via website / agent / ticket office including available free baggage must not exceed 40kg, of which:
+ Bamboo Eco ticket class can buy up to 40kg.

»Checked baggage incurred at the airport is charged at 40,000 VND / kg per weight (not including VAT).
+ For Bamboo Eco ticket class:
»If the passenger has not purchased checked baggage before, at the airport, the additional checked baggage fee will be calculated as follows:
To the range ≤ 20 kg: Charged as a package of 20 kg = 300,000 VND / 20 kg (excluding VAT)
In the range> 20 kg: Charged as a package of 20 kg + charges arising from the 21st scale at the price per scale.
Example: Passenger incurred 22 kg of checked baggage at the airport will pay the fee: 300,000 + 40,000 x 2 = 380,000 (excluding VAT).
»If a passenger has purchased checked baggage in advance, upon arrival at the airport, the extra checked baggage will be charged at 40,000 VND / kg per kilogram (VAT excluded).
3 / Package of 20 kg = 300,000 VND (excluding VAT) purchased at the airport is only applicable for Bamboo Eco ticket class without baggage pre-purchased and not applicable to Bamboo Plus and Bamboo Business ticket classes.
4 / Passengers will have to pay a fee of VND 60,000 / kg (excluding VAT) at the boarding gate if the weight of luggage carried on board exceeds the permitted limit.
Checked baggage of Bamboo AirwaysRegulations on baggage VietJet Airline
Each passenger (except for babies under 2 years old) is allowed to bring 01 main Hand Baggage and 01 small Hand Baggage bag with maximum total weight not exceeding 07kg.
- 01 main Hand Baggage package with maximum size 56cm x 36cm x 23cm.
- 01 small individual bag (including one of the following bags):
+ 01 women's handbag or book, magazine, camera, baby food bag, airport shopping bag ... with the size not exceeding 30cm x 20cm x 10cm.
+ 01 jacket pocket with maximum size, when opened, must not exceed 114cm x 60cm x 11cm.
+ 01 laptop bag with maximum size of 40cm x 30cm x 10cm.
Important Information:
- If each piece of baggage exceeds the above criteria, passengers will be required to repack the baggage and pay the fee according to the baggage that is charged at the airport or required to be sent by freight.
- Dangerous objects that can cause damage such as bombs, guns, cannons, scissors, knives.
- Dangerous chemicals, flammable substances such as gasoline, alcohol, matches, lighters, gas.
- If you want to bring liquid on the plane, you must store in each small bottle with a volume of less than 100ml and a maximum total weight of 1 liter.
- Food that smells like durian, shrimp paste must be covered carefully not to let the smell fly out.
- For fresh food, it must be tightly sealed in a foam container, with a tightly wrapped tape.

+ Standard checked baggage weight is not more than 32kg / piece
+ Size not exceeding: 119cm x 119cm x 81cm
+ Customers register for prepayment for checked baggage service at our Website, Ticket Office, Agents and Customer Service Centers. Checked baggage service fee will be higher when purchased at the airport.
- Oversized checked baggage (Service applied from January 3, 2020)
+ Weight of oversized checked baggage must not exceed 32 kg / piece
+ Size not exceeding: 200cm x 119cm x 81 cm
+ Pre-purchased Oversized Checked Baggage package includes checked baggage fee and oversize baggage handling service fee.
+ Customers register to buy oversized Baggage in advance at our Website, Ticket Office, Agents and Customer Service Centers.
